Water Sports

You can take out a kayak, canoe or paddleboard during free swims. We offer tubing, waterskiing, and kneeboarding right off the swim dock. Avid swimmers can swim to nearby islands to earn their name on a plaque.

Sailing

We offer sailing for beginners and experienced sailors. Once campers learn the basics, they head out on Farm Lake. Campers discover their own “Aha!” moments which makes learning to sail fun. Camp’s fleet includes Sunfish, a 12-foot Catalina and Puffer, a 16-foot catamaran and Johnson C-Scow. Campers advance from Junior to Senior Skippers by taking practical and written tests that prove their chops.

Fishing

The Boundary Waters are famous for some of the best fishing in the country. Fishing counselors teach beginners the basics. Fly fishing has gained popularity in recent years. Fishermen should bring their own open-faced spin cast rod and reel with a few Rapalas, spinners, jigs and light spoons in a small tackle box (4 X 7 inches). Leave your big tackle box at home.
